The ambitions of volleyball club Huizen are sky-high. The newcomer to the Eredivisie did surprisingly well this season in the regular competition, finishing eighth. The unofficial cycling season kicked off this weekend with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. At the start was Riejanne Markus. The cyclist from the neighborhood of De Zwarte Kat took the Dutch road title last season. That means that she will be riding in the champion’s jersey this season and that creates expectations.
