Local residents in the German city of Essen were startled by a loud bang in the night from Monday to Tuesday. Around half past two, two thieves successfully blow an ATM out of the wall. They fill their sports bags with the banknotes from the machine and then flee in a dark Audi with a third person inside. Police units are quickly on the scene, but fail to catch the perpetrators. An initial police search turned up nothing. The manhunt for the bank robbers continues.
