LOOK. Infrabel files a complaint after a life-threatening incident involving a car on train tracks: “I have never seen anything like this”

A maneuver that stunned even seasoned railway employees prompted Infrabel, the manager of the Belgian railway network, to file a complaint with the police. Camera images show how a car drives from the train tracks via a level crossing onto the public road, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. The incident took place on December 16 in the Rue de Billemont in Mouscron and, according to the railway network operator, could have ended very badly.
