In Sarasota in Florida, a police officer has performed a heroic act. After a skipper is overboard due to an incident with a large vessel, his speedboat will continue unmanned. The police are trying to stop the boat, but that soon turns out to be in vain. The agents therefore see only a solution: get into the speedboat themselves.
