London police warn officers after outrage over arrest of anti-monarchists: “Public has a right to protest”

London police have warned their officers that the public has the right to protest after videos went viral of protesters being violently or not being led away from protests against the British monarchy. Footage shows a young protester being violently pulled away during yesterday’s funeral procession in Scotland and another video shows officers leading a protester away in the capital. Several arrests were also made in the rest of the United Kingdom, causing a stir.
