London museum plans exhibition on Naomi Campbell

Model Naomi Campbell (53) gets a big exhibition in London. The Victoria and Albert Museum announced on Thursday that the aim was to look at the British icon’s incomparable career, which has spanned four decades. After Campbell was discovered at the age of 15, she quickly became known in the industry. In 1988, she made history as the first black model to appear on the cover of Paris’ Vogue.

The exhibition is scheduled to open in summer 2024 and will also show pieces from Campbell’s haute couture collection. Campbell was quoted as saying she was honored that the museum asked her to share her life with the world in clothes. (dpa)
