The jury decided on Friday that the 54-year-old had withheld parts of his assets from his insolvency administrator. Becker could theoretically face a prison sentence.
Judge Deborah Taylor is scheduled to announce the 54-year-old’s sentence on April 29.
Accused of concealing assets in the insolvency proceedings
The three-time Wimbledon winner was accused of a lack of cooperation in his bankruptcy proceedings on a total of 24 counts. Prosecutor Rebecca Chalkley accused the Londoner of deliberately concealing his true assets after he was declared bankrupt by a court in 2017.
