London approves construction plan for new ‘tallest skyscraper in Western Europe’

The City of London financial district has approved plans for a 73-storey skyscraper that will be exactly the same height as ‘The Shard’, the current tallest tower in Western Europe, which stands a few kilometers away in the British capital. The ‘1 Undershaft’ will be 309.6 meters high and will provide office space and a publicly accessible garden.
