Light floral prints and styles with a touch of bohème are the focus of the new spring/summer 2023 collection by Danish label Lollys Laundry.
Clear, summery colors such as pink, yellow and blue mixed with cream and black on light and uncomplicated fabrics such as viscose and cotton determine the look of the collection. Quilted jackets, printed dresses and fresh colors continue from season to season, as do rough contrasts through denim and leather that add a certain something.
Since Lollys Laundry was founded in 2007, all collections have been designed in the vibrant metropolis of Copenhagen. “I get inspiration from all sorts of things that I see along the way. Sometimes it’s a faded color on a house wall, a piece of vintage fabric, wallpaper or a wall in a museum, but just as often it’s about a feeling of a certain place that I try to transfer into the collection,” explains the designer Camilla Byriel.
In line with the brand’s vision of spreading joy and creating favorite pieces that you can wear to go from the office to the party without having to change, the cheerful designs in the new collection can be mixed and matched at will. Because dressing should be effortless and fun so you can live your best life, according to the label. The colorful styles will appear in January-March next year.
The Lollys Laundry collections are designed for all ages: “We are proud to say that daughters, mothers and grandmothers buy Lollys Laundry,” says Byriel. “Style isn’t about age, it’s about expressing who you are and you should always dress in things you feel comfortable in. You can mix and match our styles to create the look that suits you and feels right in combination with what you already have in your closet.”
In the coming seasons, the creative brand will continue to focus on patterns and prints as well as plenty of colors, including neon tones and unusual details. “We always strive to design collections that fit our happy, colorful and casual world,” concludes the designer.
