Shortly before the opening of the Oktoberfest in Munich, the traditional Munich House of Lodenfrey and the Berlin fashion and media brand Highsnobty announced their first cooperation. The goal: the combination of alpine craftsmanship with international street and subculture.
The collaboration, among other things, gave rise to a limited capsule collection, in the center of which there is, for example, a dirndl of Gore-Tex residues and a newly interpreted “loden chot”, that is the actual term for a historical hunting coat. The loden chunting was created together with graphic designer Mirko Borsche and is available exclusively from Lodenfrey as a functional outwear-piece.
Further collaborations for the Oktoberfest exist with Meindl, CP Company, Vans, Public Possession and Carne Bollente. The exclusive Lodenfrey X Highsnobiety Capsule collection as well as selected parts from the Highsnobiety Oktoberfest collection will be available from Lodenfrey and online from September 19.
In addition, Lodenfrey leads other highlights from the first Highsnobiety Oktoberfest collection, which impresses with a number of international partners: Meindl is responsible for one. Translates Italian Oktoberfest Nostalgia into a capsule with a specially developed patch design. relies on subtle irony, while public possession processes musical codes in shirts, caps, scarves and towels. The graphic manuscript by Mirko Borsche shows itself in sweaters and sneakers from Vans.
