Liverpool FC continues to focus on the Bundesliga. After two of the Reds’ three most expensive transfers in the current season were brought directly from the German top flight by Bayer Leverkusen (Florian Wirtz) and Eintracht Frankfurt (Hugo Ekitiké), the focus is now reportedly moving across the English Channel again; again to the Werkself and the SGE as well as to Leipzig and FC Bayern. It’s about Jarell Quansah (23), Yan Diomande (19) and Michael Olise (24), three of the 24 most valuable players in Germany. There is also said to be interest in Nnamdi Collins (22).

At Bayers Quansah there is a possible forced return to LFC. According to Sky, Liverpool is considering activating a buyback option for the central defender. This is possible until mid-March; Cost: 80 million euros. When the Englishman came to Leverkusen last summer, Bayer paid a transfer fee of 35 million euros. The national player’s market value increased to 40 million euros at the end of last year. Only 23 other Bundesliga players are rated this high or higher.
Leipzig’s Diomande currently has the eleventh highest market value in German football – the second most valuable teenager. Since the start of the season, the valuation has increased from 1.5 million to 45 million euros. A much higher transfer fee is likely to be necessary for a move next summer. According to the TV station, Liverpool are watching the winger very closely. Talent could become an important monetary factor for Leipzig if the Red Bulls miss out on participating in the Champions League again next season. In the current season, income from sales in the three-digit million range was therefore necessary. Benjamin Sesko and Xavi Simons, for example, were sent to England. RB is said to be aiming for at least 100 million euros for Diomande (one of Leipzig’s most expensive sales).

Olise and Collins also in the Liverpool focus
A Liverpool transfer success with one of the two most valuable Bundesliga players is considered unlikely; Olise from FC Bayern, who has been valued at 130 million euros since the market value update last December. The London native is tied to Munich until 2029 and, unlike possibly in Leipzig, the southern Germans are unlikely to have financial needs. Nevertheless, the LFC might want to try, as we hear from England. The background is a possible departure of club icon Mohamed Salah, who could leave in the summer after quarrels in recent months.

“Sky” named Frankfurt defender Collins as another player who had come into focus at Liverpool. After a change of advisor, the Düsseldorf native is now looking to change clubs after the season in order to take the next step. Collins – market value: 15 million euros – is tied to Eintracht until 2030. He was recently observed by Liverpool scouts.
