The 33-year-old Englishman is said to have had an offer for two years plus an option for a third from Al-Ettifaq FC, who are said to have more than tripled his current salary – currently just under €234,000 (£200,000) a week. Henderson wants to hold talks with coach Jürgen Klopp on Thursday in order to then be clear about his future. An aspect in the decision-making process is likely to be his future with the “Three Lions”, a move to Saudi Arabia could jeopardize his chances.
