Tour of Spain starts with team time trial: follow it here from 6.30 pm
It should have happened two years ago, but on Friday the Vuelta a España will return to Dutch soil after thirteen years. In 2009 the Vuelta started with an individual time trial on the TT circuit of Assen. This time the stage race will start with a 23 kilometer long team time trial in Utrecht, which starts at 6.30 pm, followed by two more stages in the Netherlands.
