Ukrainian President Zelensky warned last night that the situation in the town of Borodyanka is “considerably worse” than in neighboring Butya. In the meantime, Germany has announced that it needs the full transition period of 120 days to stop importing Russian coal. Yesterday, EU ambassadors agreed to punish Russia for the war in Ukraine by, among other things, no longer importing Russian coal from mid-August.
