Espargaro with best time

Aleix Espargaro did well in practice and set the current pole time of 1:37.546 minutes. There is still time to improve and there are some sector bests.

11:27

Find drivers fell time

The drivers find plenty of time on their fast laps. Zarco improves the best time to a 1:37.616. Miller is second ahead of Binder and Viñales.

11:26

It’s getting faster and faster

It’s getting faster and faster and now Zarco already has a 1:38.259. The final three minutes will be really exciting again on the drying track!

11:24

The 1:39 is cracked

The track is drying out more and more and now the rain tire shouldn’t really be an option anymore. The times are getting faster and Marquez is now delivering the first 1:39 time.

11:23

Marquez continues to be strong

For Márquez it was worth coming back into the pits early and switching to slicks. He manages to improve his best time by almost a second and is now more than a second ahead of Miller. Just over six minutes left.

11:21

Marquez with best time

Álex Márquez improves the current best time to a 1:42.675. Miller is second ahead of Marini and Bagnaia.

11:20

Miller by a large margin

The conditions suit Miller and so far he has a really big lead up front. He is 0.7 seconds ahead of the current runner-up. But there is still enough time to attack the best times.

11:20

Miller with first time

Jack Miller started out with difficult mixing conditions. He has a 1:43.003. Behind them are Bagnaia and Zarco. Álex Márquez was at the garage and switched from a rain setup to slicks. Binder is also on rain tires. Everyone else drives dry tires.

11:15

Dinner is served!

It’s ready for the Q2 and that also has a lot in store in terms of weather. There was a short shower in the break between sessions and it now seems to be dribble in some parts of the track. But is it already wet enough for rain tires?

11:08

Participant field Q2

Here they will battle it out with Aleix Espargaro, Maverick Viñales, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Martin, Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Miguel Oliveira, Álex Márquez, Takaaki Nakagami and Luca Marini for the sprint and feature poles.
