Nottingham Forest has been playing in the Premier League again since 2022. 1999 was the last season in the English upper house up to that point. Last season Nottingham was in a relegation battle, but was able to save itself in 16th place. Things could get tight again for head coach Steve Cooper’s team this season. Of nine matches, Forest won two, four games ended in a draw and three were lost. With ten points, Nottingham is currently in 15th place and is five points clear of a relegation zone.

This morning it was announced that Luis Diaz’s parents were kidnapped in Colombia. In a rescue operation at the highest state level, the national player’s mother has now been freed by the police. The search for the player’s father continues. Diaz is not in the Reds squad today.

The season has been perfect for Liverpool FC so far. In the league, the Reds won six games, two ended in a draw and only one was lost. This puts them in fourth place in the table with 20 points. With a win, Liverpool would move past Manchester City, who only have one point more. The Cityzens will face Manchester United today. The dress rehearsal for today’s game was successful during the week. In the Europa League, Jürgen Klopp’s team beat FC Toulouse 5-1. Liverpool are still unbeaten there and have won three out of three games.
