On Thursday, a series of six competitive games in a row without defeat ended for Liverpool. However, the 2-1 defeat against Union Saint-Gilloise was absolutely bearable. After all, the Reds were already confirmed as group winners before the encounter and Jürgen Klopp took advantage of the opportunity to rest many of the regulars. Today the league is about everything again for the LFC. With a win, Liverpool could jump back to the top of the table and also extend their lead over Manchester City, who failed yesterday, to six points.
