Schumacher still without a contract

For Mick Schumacher, Zandvoort will again be about proving that he is the right man for a Formula 1 cockpit. The German is still without a contract for the 2023 season. At Haas, the decision is still being delayed and there seem to be fewer and fewer vacancies in the other racing teams. For Schumacher, the season had a mixed start, but then he was able to collect his first Formula 1 points. Recently, however, the main problem was the car’s performance and team-mate Kevin Magnussen was no longer able to score points regularly.

Who can blow up the Verstappen party?

Verstappen dominated in Spa and so the question naturally arises as to whether it will be similar in Zandvoort. The track on the North Sea coast should suit Ferrari much better than the track in Belgium and so one can hope because of the tension that the Italians can get involved again. After the debacle in Spa, Mercedes is stacked low and fears the bumps in particular.

Verstappen dominates

Max Verstappen should come to his home game in Zandvoort in a good mood. The Dutchman arrives with three wins in a row and most recently dominated the race in Belgium. From 14th place, Verstappen drove confidently to victory and left the competition behind. In the World Cup, the 24-year-old now has a 93-point lead and should therefore still be difficult to keep from his second World Cup title.

Warm welcome!

After the Verstappen demonstration of power in Spa last weekend, Formula 1 continues on the Dutchman’s home track. The 1st training starts at 12:30 p.m.!
