Van den Bergh’s first semi-final
Dimitri van den Bergh knows that too. The Belgian hasn’t surpassed himself yet. Yesterday he got through the quarterfinals against Jonny Clayton with a 96 average. He has never averaged more than 100 points in a game. The semi-final against Michael van Gerwen would be a good opportunity to start with that. The Dreammaker needs to be in top form.

Van Gerwen the clear favourite
Not only since his white wash against Chris Dobey is Michael van Gerwen the big favorite for the world title. The Dutchman has played an outstanding tournament so far. He has averaged over 100 points in every game so far. In addition, there was a stable double rate of around 40 percent. In this form, MvG can really only beat itself.
