9:45 a.m .: Christian Eriksen back in professional football

The Danish international Christian Eriksen has found a club again. The Premier League club gave on Monday morning FC Brentford announced that Eriksen will get a contract there until the summer.

The 29-year-old had previously had to undergo extensive medical examinations. At the EM-Denmark’s group game against Finland last summer saw Eriksen suffer cardiac arrest. He was then fitted with a defibrillator.

His contract with Inter Milan was canceled because he was not allowed to play in the Italian Serie A with a defibrillator.
