The albatrosses seem hard to beat in their current condition. After first place in the main round, two series without defeat against Bamberg and Ludwigsburg followed. The last defeat for Berlin was in March, but Ludwigsburg in particular showed in the semifinals that ALBA is not unbeatable. Game one and three of the series were held tight for a long time by the baroque city dwellers, but the Berliners scored important goals in the decisive phases and thus made it into the BBL final for the fifth time in a row last Friday.

Again, the decision of the BBL playoffs between the two EuroLeague participants takes place. The two clubs faced each other in the final in 2018, 2019 and 2021. In the first two encounters, the Munich team prevailed, in 2018 even with a sweep. Last year the title went to Berlin with a 3-1 win.
