Amsterdam – Sywert van Lienden will challenge his suspension in court on Tuesday as director of the Stichting Hulptroepen Alliantie (SHA). Van Lienden, who says she has ‘nothing to hide’, states that an employee wanted to blackmail him. Van Lienden and his fellow directors were suspended after revelations that they secretly placed the proceeds of their mouth mask foundation in their own company. The employee of the foundation “played an important role” in those journalistic publications, according to Van Lienden, and wanted to blackmail him because she “demanded control and money”.
