They were supported by some lack of concentration by the Reds, who repeatedly showed weaknesses in the build-up game. Alisson’s biggest buck was when he played Gonçalo Guedes straight into the feet, allowing him to just shove the ball into an empty goal. Wolves seemed to have everything under control when Alexander-Arnold played a wonderful cross into Darwin Núñez’s run just before half-time, which he in turn perfectly extended into the goal. As a result, it is rightly a draw here.
