Deen in Berlin arrested for plans of attack on Jews
The man, Ali S., was arrested last Thursday in Aarhus, Danish. At the beginning of this year, he had been instructed from an Iranian secret service to collect information in Berlin about Jewish locations and certain Jewish people. In June he spied for three buildings, “presumably to prepare further intelligence operations in Germany, including possible attacks against Jewish targets,” is a press release from the Bundesanwaltschaft.
The suspect is transferred to Germany and will be brought before a judge who will decide on his pre -trial detention.
Der Spiegel writes that the Iranian secret service that is involved in the communication of the German Public Prosecution Service is the Iranian revolutionary guard. The news site also writes that the arrested man took photos of buildings, including the headquarters of the German-Israeli association.
After the Israeli attacks on Iran, the federal and local ministers of the Interior in Germany decided to further increase the measures to protect Israeli and Jewish institutions.
