LIVE NH Sport with TOP Oss – Telstar and Jong AZ – Heracles Almelo

After an interruption due to the World Cup and the holidays, the ball rolls again in the first division tonight. Young AZ receives leader Heracles Almelo for a visit. Telstar could creep further up with a profit on TOP Oss. You can follow both matches live on the radio at NH Sport from 7 p.m.

Last season, Telstar returned from Oss with one point. Cas Dijkstra then scored the only goal of the team from Velsen in a match which finished 1-1. The results over the last ten games are also in balance: three times a win, four times a draw and three times a loss.

In the current season Telstar, with eleventh place, is in a considerably better position than number nineteen TOP Oss. Because of the disappointing results, trainer Kristof Aelbrecht had to leave the field. Marcel van der Sloot is his replacement for the time being.

“This is a game we must win”

Telstar trainer Mike Snoei

At Telstar, trainer Mike Snoeit misses his attackers David Min and Koen Blommestijn. Jay Kruiiver and Yaël Liesdek are also unavailable. Liesdek is again out of circulation for months. He recently had surgery on his shoulder. Nevertheless, Snoei does not hide his ambitions for the play-offs: “This is a match that we have to win. It would be nice if Telstar played for something again.”

Young AZ – Heracles Almelo

At the same time, Jong AZ and Heracles Almelo start their second half of the season in Wijdewormer. The Almelo people are well on their way to reversing the painful relegation of last season. This match has never been played in a competitive context before.

Nevertheless, Heracles will be wary, because earlier this season a visit to Jong Ajax ended in a fiasco. It became 4-0 at De Toekomst. Whether the Alkmaar promises, eighth in the ranking, can also give Heracles an unpleasant evening, you will hear from reporter Erik-Jan Brinkman.

You will also get a preview of NEC – Ajax, SC Cambuur – FC Volendam, the Egmond Half Marathon and the New Year’s match between Royal HFC Legends and the former internationals in NH Sport between 7 and 10 pm. Your presenter is Robbert van den Heuvel.
