The royal family has arrived in Doetinchem to celebrate King’s Day there. King Willem-Alexander and his entourage make a festive trip through the Gelderse Plaats from noon. The king came with a video message shortly before the start of the trip. In it he briefly considered the death of the pope. “It’s a day with two faces,” he said.
