After fifteen minutes it looked so beautiful for Go Ahead Eagles: 2-0 against Feyenoord and finally smooth, attacking football. At the end of the ride, however, it turned out to be worth little: the team from Rotterdam cleared the deficit before half-time and took the win in the second half. That was not undeserved, as GA Eagles proved far too frail defensively to claim the first point of the competition: 3-4 in a true goal feast.
