Read and narrow at Feyenoord in the base against SC Heerenveen
Trainer Robin van Persie van Feyenoord has adjusted his basic team for the home game against SC Heerenveen in two places. Wing defenders Givairo Read and Gijs Smal participate from the start. In the previous league duel with Sparta Rotterdam, those places were still taken by Bart Nieuwkoop and Jordan Bos.
After international matches with Australia, Bos has had a long flight and therefore starts on the couch.
For the injured Jakub Moder, Gernot Trauner and Thomas Beelen, the meeting with SC Heerenveen comes too early. Hwang In-Beom and Jordan Lotomba are also missing on Monday with the group training again.
Feyenoord is still without a loss of points after three league matches.
