THE HAGUE – Hay bales were set on fire at several places along highways in the Netherlands this morning, Rijkswaterstaat reports. Farmers are protesting the government’s nitrogen policy on Tuesday morning. Several farmers arrived at the House of Representatives with tractors and cows. Prime Minister Rutte said in a response that he condemned the demonstrators who cause dangerous situations.
