After the excellent match against Ajax last week, SC Cambuur was unable to visit Go Ahead Eagles again a week later. Goals from Joris Kramer, Luuk Brouwers and Mats Deijl gave Go Ahead a simple 3-0 home win.
FC Twente – PEC Zwolle 1-0
FC Twente put the pressure on AZ in the battle for place 4 again. The tukkers had to go deep and escaped a number of times against PEC Zwolle, but eventually won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Daan Rots.
NEC – Sparta Rotterdam 0-0
No goals were scored in De Goffert and NEC was most angry about that. The Nijmegen team seemed to get a penalty after Adil Auassar’s hand, but both referee Jochem Kamphuis and the video referee didn’t think it was a penalty: 0-0.
Friday night already booked SC Heerenveen the first victory of 2022. In its own Abe Lenstra Stadium, the team of Ole Tobiasen defeated Heracles Almelo with 2-0 thanks to goals from Amin Sarr and Nick Bakker.
