LIVE EARTHQUAKE. Death toll rises to more than 8,300 – Dutch rescue team retrieves six people alive from under rubble

At least 8,364 people have been killed in a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 in Turkey. This is reflected in a new balance. In Turkey itself, 5,894 people were counted dead, in neighboring Syria at least 2,470 people died. Help from all over the world is on the way, but bad weather complicates the search for survivors. The total extent of the disaster remains unclear, many people are still missing. The WHO fears the death toll could rise above 20,000.
