Maarten Meiners 18th in giant slalom despite physical malheur and snow storm: ‘Just very unlucky’
Maarten Meiners has so far finished 18th in the giant slalom at his first appearance at the Olympic Games. The 30-year-old Amersfoorter came after two runs to a total time of 2.15.48. With that he was more than 6 seconds slower than the Swiss Marco Odermatt (2.09.35) who conquered the gold.
