AMSTERDAM – As every year on May 4, the Netherlands will also this year commemorate the civilians and soldiers who have been killed or murdered since the outbreak of the Second World War, in war situations and in peace operations. The ceremony started outside on Dam Square around 7:50 PM. The Netherlands has been silent for two minutes. There are also commemorations and ceremonies elsewhere in the country.
