And on her Instagram profile she vented: “I’ve been absent for some time, but as you know, it’s been a very difficult two months for my health. It wasn’t easy to decide to give up racing, and above all to accept it, but this time I had to listen to my body. I’m doing my best to be able to feel good again and do what I love again.”

Vittozzi, however, doesn’t give up and wants to return to competing as soon as possible: “Thanks to those who have been close to me, supported and comforted during these months.
