A new content offer with the LinkedIn Podcast Network

Like the vast majority of podcasts, those on LinkedIn will be available on all listening platforms. They will also be broadcast on the social network and not in any way. To be able to listen to them, users must subscribe to the profile of the presenters as well as to their newsletter. Podcasts are therefore becoming a new flagship product of the social network. LinkedIn sees here a way to offer a new kind of interaction on its platform. An interesting concept, which contrasts with the passive listening of podcasts that can be observed on other platforms.

For the moment, the social network has not mentioned the subject of the monetization of podcasts. According to a recent study, 116 million Americans listened to podcasts each month in 2021. The market is booming and could exceed $2 billion in revenue in 2023. LinkedIn Podcast Network is a project that builds on the success of Hello Monday, a podcast produced by LinkedIn News in which Jessi Hempel reflects on the changing nature of work.
