Lingerie label Skenty enters into partnership with Women for Women International

Berlin lingerie start-up Skenty has partnered with non-governmental charity Women for Women International. The collaboration aims to empower women, Skenty said in a statement Monday.

Skenty has specialized in the niche range of sanitary linen since it was founded in 2020. The label strives to promote cohesion among women and to create space for stigmatized topics.

As part of the Women for Women International partnership, the label will donate one euro per item sold to the organization. The share is intended to support women living in crisis areas in helping their communities. Territories include Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nigeria.

Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped around 500,000 women build lives and shape their futures. “Women for Women International is about empowering women to reach their full potential. In addition to learning practical skills, our training also focuses on instilling confidence and showing solidarity with women who have experienced poverty, violence, trauma and exclusion,” said Caroline Kent, Managing Director at Women for Women International. The organization is pleased that Skenty is also promoting the strength and dignity of women.
