Hello dear people, just an update of team recovery here! It’s going really well. I can make a documentary, write a book, participate in The Perfect Picture and I really enjoy the summer (just here in the Netherlands, I don’t really need to be away really)”, Hakeboom begins, who is recovering from breast cancer. At the end of August, she announced on Instagram that all cancer has disappeared from her body after several treatments.
Physically it goes “kind of okay…”, the 36-year-old continues. “I can handle a lot more stimuli again. A festival here and there goes really well too!” Her shoulder is not doing well. „Putting on a coat is already a very – and painful – task (fortunately a coat is not necessary at the moment). I go to the physiotherapist and orthopedist, but I guess it’s just part of it…”
