After a disappointing start to Ik Hou Van Holland – about 600,000 people watched it last Saturday, according to Tina Nijkamp – Linda de Mol knew last night with Million Hunt to reach the million mark. They saw how the presenter walked off the show stairs somewhat wrongly.

Linda on Crocs

Linda was accompanied by a young man. “Young-young-young, I have seldom been so happy to have made it down those stairs in one piece. Good evening everyone and a very warm welcome to a brand new season of Miljoenenjacht, which I present this time in footwear that I usually weed with.”

Why? “That’s because I have a broken foot and it hasn’t fully healed yet. Look, I did pimp them up a bit, though. Anyway, I’m fine again, I just can’t wear normal shoes. That foot is so thick. By the way, the rest of all that sitting with your leg up.”

‘Love her’

Private boss Evert Santegoeds already thought it was ‘exciting’ how Linda would appear, he says Show news. “She was visiting a friend with a staircase in the summer, so she sprained her right ankle and even broke her left one. Then you see that show staircase in front of you at Miljoenenjacht and then you think: how is that supposed to be done? Well, like that.”

Colleague Tooske Ragas thinks it’s great. “Love her. Love her. Love her.

Evert: “Just Crocs!”

Retehip

Tooske does not judge Linda. “We can laugh a little scornfully at that, but I think she’s hip with Crocs.”

Fashion connoisseur Anouk Smulders thinks otherwise: “Eh, according to some people she is hip. This is really the only excuse you should have to put on these shoes. Well, I have to say that those stairs are really hell in high heels. I really think she has that moment every time: okay, here we go again.”

‘This is the limit’

Such a staircase is also difficult with a broken foot, says Anouk. “You can’t hold on to anything, no handrail or anything. I think she liked it this way to go with flat shoes for a while.”

She concludes: “I must honestly say that I always walk in here in slippers, so I can’t really say anything, but this is really the limit.”
