Linda de Mol moves with Ik Hou Van Holland: ‘Afraid of Chantal?’

Tina Nijkamp has really been worrying about it all day: I Love Holland will not return to the tube tonight at 8 p.m., but at 9:30 p.m. “Is this because of Chantal Janzen?”

You have main issues and side issues in life, but what’s happening on television tonight is real shocking: Ik Hou Van Holland, about the only TV child that RTL has not taken from Linda de Mol after the divorce, is moving. The new season, the first series since Vieze Jeroentje-gate, starts tonight at 9.30 pm. And not at 8 p.m.

Big riddle

Bizarre, thinks Tina Nijkamp. She sounds the alarm on her ratings juice channel. “Ik Hou Van Holland is the first program that Linda de Mol presents again after two years (!) in addition to Miljoenenjacht. It is a big mystery why SBS 6 suddenly programmed it at 9.30 pm. Since 2008, only one other season did not start at 8 p.m..”

Because of this decision, Jeroen van Koningsbrugge is now facing himself. He is team captain at both Ik Hou Van Holland and direct competitor DNA Singers on RTL 4. “Is it because 9.30 pm on Saturday is known as the easiest slot of the week? Or is it because Linda doesn’t want to face Chantal Janzen and her ex-program?”

By Chantal?

Chantal will return next Saturday at 8 p.m. with Oh Wat Een Jaar, which Linda lost during her divorce with RTL. And how painful would it be if Chantal managed to captivate more viewers than Linda.

Tina: “Or is it because SBS 6 was not too satisfied with the scores of De Alleskunner at 9.30 pm? It is now at 8:00 PM. Very enigmatic. At least one person is not happy with it and that is of course Jeroen van Koningsbrugge. There is something sad about being in two panel programs at the same time.”

The winners

Anyway, according to Tina, it’s Super Saturday on TV tonight. SBS 6’s Ik Hou Van Holland will be opposite DNA Singers (RTL 4) and Denkend aan Holland (NPO 1) at 9.30 pm. “The very popular André and Janny get the most viewers whistling, but it is also a big important evening for Linda.”

And at 8pm? Then Beste Zangers (NPO 1), the kick-off of Expedition Robinson (RTL 4) and De Alleskunner (SBS 6) compete against each other. “Winner? Dear Singers, there is no other way. Smart of NPO to put this program back on Saturday instead of ‘normal’ weekdays on Thursday.”
