Linda de Mol (60) fears that her brother John de Mol (69) only has ten years to live. The presenter of RTL and SBS therefore finds it difficult that she sees him so little. “Too few.”

Anyone who thinks that Linda and John de Mol spend entire evenings together is wrong. In fact, the two hardly see each other. According to Linda, this mainly has to do with the fact that John is still very busy with Talpa, where he has just saved SBS 6 from destruction by signing the VI trio.

‘See John little’

Linda thinks it’s a shame. “I don’t see my brother enough. We live close to each other, but he still works so crazy a lot for a seventy-year-old that meeting up to just really catch up is far too often a waste of time. How many more times will I see him at this rate? LINDA.

In fact, the family only sees each other during the holiday period, she continues. “We try to spend a week in Portugal with the whole family at the same time every summer, but with adult children and their busy jobs it is no longer possible every summer to get everyone’s schedules the same.”

Ten more years

Linda fears she will only see John a few more times for the rest of her life. “If I can achieve the average life expectancy, I only have 23 of those weeks left and with my brother even only ten weeks, if you assume the average lower life expectancy of men.”

John is already almost 70 and men live to be 80 on average. “Gosh, I don’t want to think like that at all. Hopefully we will live to be 102, but it is also good to be aware that the time you spend with loved ones is precious or may be shorter than you thought.”
