Attacking player from Brazil
Fenerbahce completed Lincoln’s signing. The 23-year-old offensive player comes from the Portuguese first division club Santa Clara and is to receive a four-year contract. “We welcome Lincoln Henrique to our family and wish him many more victories and championships with Fenerbahce,” said a statement from the Turkish club, which also has the suspended Mesut Özil (33) under contract.
While Santa Clara did not provide the exact details of the transfer fee, they did reveal that a “deal beneficial to everyone involved” had been agreed. Among other things, a resale participation is part of the transfer business. “Lincoln (…) has always shown exemplary professionalism, sacrifice and gratitude to Santa Clara,” it continues. The Brazilian, signed from Gremio in 2019, managed nine goals and 23 assists in 109 games for his employer.
