Lil Uzi Vert announces retirement

An end has been announced many times, now there seems to be an exact time.

Lil Uzi Vert has hinted several times that her music career would eventually come to an end. However, what exactly was meant by this and when it would happen was not yet known.

In an interview with “TMZ,” Lil Uzi confirmed the question of whether it would be over after the upcoming album LUV IS RAGE 3. “I love music and I love making music, but I don’t want to make music that way anymore.”

In the future, Uzi wants to design women’s fashion and says that the first steps for a career change are running. There is no further information yet, such as what the fashion brand will look like or where it will appear.

PINK TAPE and LUV IS RAGE 3

Lil Uzi Vert’s third LP PINK-TAPE was released on June 30, 2023, which was quite a long time coming. Symere Bysil Woods, Lil Uzi’s real name, had already teased the album in an Instagram Live clip in December 2020. In the second half of 2021, PINK TAPE had to be postponed several times until it was released in the summer of 2023.

Just a week after releasing PINK TAPE, Lil Uzi Vert promised another album. The condition for this was that the fans got his record to number one in the US charts – which was the case. A new Instagram biography called LUV IS RAGE 3, a follow-up album to LUV IS RAGE 2, provided a teaser for the name. However, an exact release date is not yet known.
