Lil Durk’s new album was released last Friday. An album that shouldn’t be so easily passed over by affine rap fans. The record, titled 7220, is the rapper’s seventh studio album and includes features featuring Future, Gunna, Morgan Wallen and Summer Walker.

The album can be found on all major streaming platforms and has already fought its way into the upper league of the album charts. The single “Barbarian” released on Tuesday already has over 2.5 million views.

As the “ChartData” platform explains on Twitter, the album was able to reach number 1 in the US Apple Music Charts before its release. At the same time, all singles can be found in the top 40 of the streaming platform’s US charts.

The Chicago-based rapper, who is part of the drill movement, made his debut with 2015’s REMEMBER MY NAME. Since then, the rapper has worked tirelessly on six more albums. With JUST CAUSE Y’ALL WAITED 2 and THE VOICE, Lil Durk released two works in the same year in 2020. Both records were able to achieve multiple gold awards in the US charts. Likewise, Lil Durk can look back on features with rap luminaries like Drake, Kanye West and Travis Scott.

Named after the house number of Lil Durk’s childhood home, 7720 is said to be the rapper’s most personal album to date.
