The song “Little by Little” is an integral part of the Oasis reunin tour-and for many fans the perfect opportunity to enjoy a running gag. A gag that should be particularly pleased with an internationally known discounter: Because not only that numerous fans of the market fans stretch plastic bags of the market – “Little by Little” becomes so quickly “Lidl by Lidl”.
Already in autumn 2024 there was a first, involuntary connex between Liam Gallagher and the discounter: At that time the singer showed himself in a £ 400-expensive mountain house jacket in the Lidl colors-and promptly acted on social networks. Comments like “Lidl Wants Their Staff Back” quickly made the round.
Lidl picks up Joke
One cannot accuse the discounter: bad pr. Just in time for the reunion, Lidl took up the running gag-and launched a limited “Lidl by Lidl” jacket, equipped with beverage chools, bottle openers and even a tambourin. The good piece was presented in style in front of a 30 -meter -high mural near the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
The disco under giant is a lot of milking – and posted a live video of the song, in which numerous plastic bags can be seen in the audience, with the words: “This gives us everthing we ever dreamed of.”
And oasis? They should at least not be too angry about it-after all, the fans with the plastic bags were even to be seen over the stage on the huge LED canvas.
