Second coach dismissal within a day in Ligue 1: After Stade Brest, AJ Auxerre also confirmed the separation from the head coach on Tuesday. With a tenure of over three years, Jean-Marc Furlan was previously one of the three longest-serving coaches in the French House of Lords. The 64-year-old, who celebrated promotion with the team last season, averaged 1.58 points in 125 games on the touchline. In this season, however, Auxerre could not quite take the tailwind with them. After the 10th match day, they are in 16th place with eight points.
