The French soccer world champion Kylian Mbappé caused a stir in Ligue 1 again – and initiated a thrashing victory for PSG with a lightning goal.

The 23-year-old scored on Sunday evening (08/21/2022) for Paris Saint-Germain after eight seconds to lead 1-0 at OSC Lille. Mbappé lobbed the ball over goalkeeper Léo Jardim after a long pass from six-time world footballer Lionel Messi from the center circle.

Messi and Neymar also meet

The Paris star ensemble finally won the game 7-1 (4-0). After goals from Messi (27th), Achraf Hakimi (38th) and Neymar (42nd and 51st), Mbappé (65th and 86th) also scored twice more.

With his 1-0, Mbappé had set the record for the fastest goal in Ligue 1. Only Michel Rio had scored just as early in February 1992 for Caen against Cannes. Leader PSG has 17:3 goals after three games and is even more successful than FC Bayern in Germany. Lille only interrupted PSG’s championship series in 2021.
