The Liberation Festival in Assen has added the rapper Kraantje Pappie as ‘absolute headliner’ to the program. Earlier, the organization announced that Bökkers will close the festival at the RTV Drenthe Mainstage.
Kraantje Pappie is seen as a topper in the Dutch rap scene. According to the organization, he created a great electronic sound of his own with his three-part album series Crane† He scored gold and platinum hits with the songs party tent and Pumps†
Suzan & Freek will act as Ambassadors of Freedom on 5 May. They fly by helicopter to several stages in the Netherlands. Other artists performing in Assen include The Cool Quest, The Partysquad, De Hofnar and Billy the Kit. Drenthe singer/songwriter Jason Staal opens the festival on 5 May.
