Liam Gallagher has confirmed to a fan on Twitter that an Oasis reunion “will happen”. There are always rumors of a band reunion with Noel Gallagher after the brothers declared the end of the group in 2009 after an ongoing rivalry. For years, however, it has been said that the two get along quite well and only stage their argument.

After being asked on the platform if there was a slim chance of a band reunion, the singer replied: “It happens”.

In January this year, Noel also spoke about a possible return, told BBC Radio Manchester: “You should never say never, but that would take extraordinary circumstances,” and further fueled the rumor mill: “It doesn’t mean that these circumstances will never occur”. The two also get along “brilliantly” again.

With his band “Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds” their fourth album “Council Skies” will be released on June 2nd, from which two songs were already presented with “Pretty Boy” in October last year and “Easy Now” in January. The music video for the latest release stars House of the Dragon actress Milly Alcock.

Liam released his third solo record, C’mon You Know, in 2022 and has confirmed that former Oasis guitarist Paul Arthurs will be joining him for his summer performances this year.

One can only speculate as to how high the chances of an actual reunification are. The ongoing reports of a possible reunion picked up speed, especially at the beginning of the year, when several media outlets reported on the reconciliation and talks between the Gallagher brothers.
