German becomes “Miss Universe” in bodybuilding

Defending a title is not an easy task. Bodybuilder Lia Liebing still made it and can continue to call herself “Miss Universe”.
She did it and defended her title: Lia Liebing from Cologne was crowned “Miss Universe” in bodybuilding for the second time in a row. Last year she secured the title in Las Vegas. This year she was able to celebrate in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The title is awarded by the boybuilding association World Fitness Federation and has nothing to do with the beauty competition of the same name.
Following her triumph in the professional bikini class, Liebing wrote on Instagram: “This victory represents commitment, passion and the unwavering belief that anything is possible when you give it your best.”
Then the 27-year-old said: “My deepest thanks go to my trainer, who got my body into top shape in such a short time.” Liebing caught a cold shortly before the competition and was therefore unable to train for a long time. Together with her coach, she still managed to get fit in time.
She received 500 euros for her victory. She revealed to the “Bild” newspaper: “I can’t even pay for the outward flight. Thanks to the title, I can charge more money for hours in my job as a fitness trainer.” Now the winner is traveling and can celebrate her renewed title.
