Lewis Hamilton responded to Nelson Piquet’s racist comment

Information was previously reported CNN Brazil by being the three-time world champion in Formula One Nelson Piquet had described Lewis Hamiltonia with a racist term.

Now Hamilton answered On Twitter To Piquet’s comments. He writes a concise answer on how people’s attitudes should change.

This was a direct message to Brazilian Piquet, who had used the n-word in an interview in November 2021. The insult had been taken away from the original interview, but now it had leaked to the public.

– It’s more than our language. These ancient ways of thinking need to change and have no place in our sport. I have encountered these attitudes all my life and have been attacked, Hamilton wrote on Twitter.

– There has been a lot of time to learn, but now is the time to take action, the seven-time F1 world champion continued.

Piquet used the term Hamilton in last season’s Silverstone riot. In the race Max Vertappen and Hamilton crashed where a Red Bull car slammed into a wall. Hamilton eventually won the race.

– That little black man (term changed) stuck in the inner line and stayed there because two cars couldn’t drive that bend side by side. It was a joke. His luck was that only Verstappen went awry, Piquet shot.

Piquet is Verstappen’s appetizer. The reigning world champion swings the daughter of a brass legend Kelly Piquetin with.

The stables react

Of the F1 stables, Mercedes and Ferrari have expressed support for Hamilton on social media. Mercedes released opinionwhich strongly condemned all forms of racism and discriminatory language.
